Experience the onset of the Dark Invasion and get ready to survive the first episode of "Dark Invasion VR: Doomsday." Fight your way through a bunker infested with zombies, monsters, mutants, and aliens using melee weapons, handguns, shotguns, and rifles.

You play as John Beggart, a member of a reconstruction team working in an old bunker that survived World War II. John shivers as he enters the bunker, unaware that his world is about to collapse. He reminisces about playing hide and seek with Karen at this cursed place, 20 years ago—she got lost and was never found again.

No one was prepared for what happened next as the city was overrun by zombies, mutants, and aliens. As the apocalypse unfolds, our hero is in the old bunker. He must navigate his way through the underground basement and survive the full force of the violence from the undead army of the Dark Invasion!

First of all: I really had fun playing the first episode! The setting is good, the weapons work well und there is enough variety to keep the motivation and continue playing. It is obviously not a AAA game but it has its charme and the devs put a lot of love into the game. If you like this type of game I suggest buying it now to support the development.

Dark Invasion VR: Doomsday is an Early Access VR zombie shooter and escape room. It worked on my Index system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok, Has a tutorial mission. The english voiceovers were done by Europeans.
Buy this game if you like zombie shooters and escape rooms.

There is only one episode so far, two more are planned. Episode two will take place in a city and episode 3 in an alien spaceship. I'm really looking forward to it. Hats off to what two developers have achieved! In my opinion, it has great potential. The graphics look OK, including very good lighting, which really highlights the ambience. The zombies are well designed, especially when you smash them. The weapon handling feels good too.
